Well, hey there. The name's Haley Michael and I am fifteen years young. Most people just call me Haley, Hales, Noodles or Haystack. You can call me whatever your heart desires, though, I won't mind.
I attend a very high-maintenance high school, and even though it's loads of fun, it basically noms my life away. But, I guess that's sometimes a good thing.
I really love music. I am on the drumline at high school, and I play the Bass drum. I am also in the Orchestra at my school and I play the upright Bass as well as the Electric bass. I play the guitar and the piano, but those are both self-taught. In the future, I play to learn the Didgeridoo, Satir and Mandolin, as well. Along with playing music, I love to listen to music. Most kids my age are into stuff like rap & pop and stuff, but I'm more off into Psychedelic rock, classic rock, rock and folk music. My favorite bands are (prepare yourself for this) :

I seriously seriously love Alice in Wonderland. That's one of my top 3 obsessions, really. Ever since I was little, I've been obsessed with it. And, of course, my favorite director and play-write, Tim Burton, is coming out with Alice in Wonderland this year! Oh my god, I am so excited, I am counting down the days. Literally. I am so freakin' excited for it. Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter is playing the Red Queen -- Helena and Johnny are my two favorite actors, by the way. Also, I really love the old Alice in Wonderland by Disney and the one with Tina Majorino and Martin Short -- Martin's another of my favorite actors. I seriously can not wait. Seriously.My best friend, Eric, sent me a commercial for AIW via Facebook, and I got so excited I almost pissed myself and was shaking for the rest of the day. Also, Eric and I have decided to dress up like characters from the movie and go see AIW about sixty-billion times. We're gunna dress up as the cards, the mad hatter, sleepy door mouse, alice (yes, both of us :) ) the cheshire cat, the red queen, the duchess, the king, the march hare, and everything else that we can think of! It's going to be loads of fun, and I will, of course, upload pictures.

I am a vegetarian, a Quaker and a Jew, a hippie, a non-violence supporter, a believer, a dreamer, a lover, a sister, a twin, a daughter, a friend, a fool, a harry potter freak, edward scissorhand's wife, a drummer, a bassist, a musician, an artist, an author, and of course, a freak. I heart me.
Ahh, speaking of hearting myself, I have ridiculously low self-esteem. But, I'm trynig to break that, so let's not talk about it. Good? Good.
I have very bad anxiety, but I take medication for it, and it's getting much much better. I also have severe ADHD (yes, I do take meds for it) so I can never stick with one thing for too long. That's why I am a bit iffy about this whole blog thing, because I feel like if I make a promise to stay, I am bound to break that promise.
So, here is my proposal: I will update my blogs once everyday. No, that won't happen. Let's say at least once or twice every weekend? Sounds like a deal that I can go on with. But, who knows. Maybe I'll stick around and full-fill my promise or maybe this was just my first and last blog. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
