Dreads!

So, I've always wanted dreadlocks since I was in second or third grade.
But Mubs always said, "NO! Next year! Next year!" and finally I started catching on and she said, "Okay, when you turn 15!"
Silly Mubs x3 Thought I wouldn't want dreads when i turned 15... Well I/ve been fifteen for six frikkin months, and I want muh damn dreads!

But here's the catch... Mubs says not until my first report card to see how good my grades are -_- I was like, "MOM, I DON'T THINK MY DREADS ARE GOING TO CARE IF I MAKE STRAIGHT A'S OR NOT!"
She didn't laugh xD

So, yea. I've been researching them, looking at pictures of em, and falling even more in love with em! Here are some really really really amazing pictures that I found and want to share with you!!

I bought fire works with my dad, and met a really hot guy at the fireworks tent... yea haha

AAAAAAAAAAAAND, a few days ago, I went shopping... and I actually bought some clothes that FIT me and are nice :3 my sissy says she's proud, haha!

urgh.

So, I have to wake up in about three hours to go to the Animal Shelter. No, that's not like just cuddling the kittens, you have to clean their entire crate (and trust me, they make SUCH a mess -__-). It's strenuous work and makes me exhausted and I have to wake up for it in three hours. Only problem: Haley has yes to fall asleep.

Fuck Insomnia. I hate it. I am wide awake right now, and I'd been laying in bed from 11-4 before I just decided to give up and come talk with you all. I NEED MEDS OR SOMETHING. I CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE, I'M FREAKIN NOCTURNAL!

Also, I am craving a PopTart for some weird reason. Oh well. In about thirty minutes I will probably get up and go eat something, cause I'm starving.

Today, I went and saw Toy Story 3 with my best friends, Zack and Sam. I cried about four times lemme just throw that out there. Also, everyone kept laughing at all the parts that weren't even funny so we decided just to start laughing in really high pitched and annoying voices. I thought it was pretty funny, but I guess you would've had to have heard it.

Oh, also, we walked over to Target & the Dollar Store to get snackage, and so Sam and Zack decided to buy these HUGE sunglasses and sombreros, and YES, they wore them into the movie D: I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. Hehe, but it was funny.

Oh my god, you guys! How could you let me do that?! I haven't posted in here for like a billion gajillion days! WHAT THE CRAP?! So, I broke my promise and completely abandoned you guys! I am the shittiest blogger and promise-keeper ever. Gah.

Anywho, now that that is over with... IT'S SUMMER! FINALLY! YAY!
No, not yay. I have to go to summer school. Don't worry, I'm not stupid, I just have to take Gym over the summer so that I can take two music classes next year. It pretty much sucks ass. But yea. It has to be done.

Today, I went to my family's rental house (we've been trying to sell it for about six years now) to clean it. It was so freakin hot out, I almost passed out. But, we got it cleaned up, so that's a good thing. I came home and started building a website, which I will gladly link you to if you are interested. Also, I got a phone call from a fellow friend at Quaker meeting who wants me and my sister to babysit her sons tomorrow. I LOVE THEM, THEY ARE SO CUTE! I'll have to upload pics of them <3 they are so adorable! I'm pretty excited about that.

Hopefully, I am going with my best friend, Sarah, and her family to their lake house next week. That should be fun! Only problem is: I have absolutely no bathing suits that I can wear. Except for a couple one pieces, but they are starting to get old (seriously, I have had them for like three years. I got out of the pool the other day and my sister goes 'HOLY SHIT, I CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOUR BATHING SUIT HAHAHAHA." No, not hahaha. More like 'oh shit, Hales needs a new bathing suit!') I don't know if mom will let me go, because we won't get back until the fifth of July, and we had already made plans for my godbrother, John Paul, and his brother and two fathers to come over for the fourth of July. John Paul is eight years old and was adopted by two guys from China. My mom is his godmother, so we're basically as close as family. He's so funny, because he has a lisp ( xD it's so cute because he's little <3) well, I dunno if it's a lisp or what... But he always calls his brother (well, his adopted brother... Steven was also adopted from China ) and he goes "FWEVEN!!" even though his name is Steven. hehe, he is so cute! I shall upload pictures of him, as well.

Well, that's about all that I have for now. I will post more tomorrow, as well as some pictures from my adventures with Ian and Elliot (the adorable monsters that I shall be babysitting) and John Paul, of course. So, yea. Have a good nightm folks! Hope to see ya soon. <3

For those of you who don't read Swahili, Amazing day (: Got out of the house (thank god) and took my dogs, Lucy and Winston, to get a haircut. I would have gladly done it myself, but I can hardly give them a proper bath... And the last time I cut Lucy's hair, it looked all chop, like Stevie Wonder cut her hair :P

So, after I brought the noobs home, my famiyl and I headed out to our friends' house. We don't get to see them much, even though we live sort of close, because we're always so busy. But when we do visit each other, it's always a ton of fun. They have one son who is a few months younger than me, a son in his first year of college and another son that is all grown up and out of college. We have known this family since our parents were in high school, but then they moved to Los Angeles and then moved back to Virginia a few years ago.

After we had an AMAZING dinner (They're mom is Italian and she makes amazing Pasta...) we went to their oldest son's church. It was a Christian church, and me being Jewish was quite awkward. So, basically, the only thing I learned from that Church visit was that I am going to hell with all of the other Jews :) How lovely...

I LOVE THEIR DOG. He's adorable! His name is Duke and he's a White Husky mix. He's soooooooo cute. I'll upload pics :)

gah!.

it is 1:53 in the morning. Haley has yet to fall asleep. I freaking hate Dr. Pepper for tempting me so late at night, and I also hate Insomnia because it sucks major ass and I hate it.

On the plus side, I have, once again, updated muh blog! I should get a cookie. So, here are my plans for the day: Fall asleep at some point; sleep until my mom wakes me up (probably around eight or nine; dear god...); go to Carytown with my best friends, Amanda and Mitchell; have Amanda sleep over (possibly) and who knows what else.

Gosh, blogging is actually making me kind of tired... and hungry o.o I wants food! But, if I go downstairs, I will wake up my folks and they will not be pleased. So, I shall live off of the Ju-Ju Bees that I have horded in my sockdrawer and the huge bottle of Sunny-D that I had rinext to me. So, yea...

Yesterday was okay.. I still couldn't go outside until it started raining, because that nasty green shit on my porch washed off. So, I took my meds (which actually made me want to get off my butt and do something!) and vaccuumed the entire upstairs... Then, I did the downstairs too. So, my house is spotless. I also cleaned my sisters room... Yes, she's my twin and she is prefectly capable of cleaning up her own crap, but I did it anyways because she went to the beach with a friend. So then, I at least got to get out of the house for dinner because we went to a Mediterranean restaraunt. It was very very good and not to mention that our waiter was extremely attractive ;) XD

So, not much to say today.. I've been feeling really crummy cause of the pollen and such around here. I have terrible, terrible allergies because of the pollen. This morning, I woke up feeling like crap and when I went to go let my dogs run around outside, my deck was COVERED in pollen. It literally looked like it has snowed green powder shit all over my deck. Yay me... Basically, I am locked inside, because if I got outside, I will die. So, what have I been doing for the past *looks at clock and counts fingers* nine hours? Sitting around watching Michael Moore movies and listening to Pearl Jam, while the sun beats wildly on my shoulders through the glass doors and I cry on the inside, because it's so pretty outside xD I have done absolutely nothing productive today, which makes me kind of sick. I wanted to go for a run and a bike ride, trek through the woods and then wash my car... But, no. None of that today, because the damn pollen had to ruin it. Thanks a lot, pollen. You rock. All though, on the optimistic side, I did update my blog :) Three cheers for Haley! One, two.... ehh, nevermind. I'm lazy. Signing off, Haley.

oh my god, you guys... i didn't keep my promise.
i'm stupid. sorry. wow, it's been over two months since i've been on this place. that's pretty ridiculous of me... i'm sorry guys :( please forgive me? take me back?

so, to basically sum everything up that's happened since i've been gone, let's see.....
one of my best friends got pregnant, and we got into a huge fight. but we live far away and we miss each other a lot so the fight didn't last very long. ehh... My grades started to slip so i was gone for a while, trying to get a grip and buckle down on my schoolwork. And now we're herre? I think...

Oh, so I went to the beach yesterday; we're out on Spring Break down here. Um, it was really cold and I had a terrible allergy attack which really sucked. I love going surfing, so it was a bummer that I had to miss out on it, because it was just so freakin cold! I'll upload some pictures of me surfing in just a bit.




I just wanna have fun! It's spring break, dammit! So, I'm going to Carytown soon (downtown Richmond, pedestrian area with a ton of cool little shops = ♥)

not much of an introduction...

Well, hey there. The name's Haley Michael and I am fifteen years young. Most people just call me Haley, Hales, Noodles or Haystack. You can call me whatever your heart desires, though, I won't mind.

I attend a very high-maintenance high school, and even though it's loads of fun, it basically noms my life away. But, I guess that's sometimes a good thing.

I really love music. I am on the drumline at high school, and I play the Bass drum. I am also in the Orchestra at my school and I play the upright Bass as well as the Electric bass. I play the guitar and the piano, but those are both self-taught. In the future, I play to learn the Didgeridoo, Satir and Mandolin, as well. Along with playing music, I love to listen to music. Most kids my age are into stuff like rap & pop and stuff, but I'm more off into Psychedelic rock, classic rock, rock and folk music. My favorite bands are (prepare yourself for this) :

I seriously seriously love Alice in Wonderland. That's one of my top 3 obsessions, really. Ever since I was little, I've been obsessed with it. And, of course, my favorite director and play-write, Tim Burton, is coming out with Alice in Wonderland this year! Oh my god, I am so excited, I am counting down the days. Literally. I am so freakin' excited for it. Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter is playing the Red Queen -- Helena and Johnny are my two favorite actors, by the way. Also, I really love the old Alice in Wonderland by Disney and the one with Tina Majorino and Martin Short -- Martin's another of my favorite actors. I seriously can not wait. Seriously.My best friend, Eric, sent me a commercial for AIW via Facebook, and I got so excited I almost pissed myself and was shaking for the rest of the day. Also, Eric and I have decided to dress up like characters from the movie and go see AIW about sixty-billion times. We're gunna dress up as the cards, the mad hatter, sleepy door mouse, alice (yes, both of us :) ) the cheshire cat, the red queen, the duchess, the king, the march hare, and everything else that we can think of! It's going to be loads of fun, and I will, of course, upload pictures.

Back to introducing myself? Ok...
I am a vegetarian, a Quaker and a Jew, a hippie, a non-violence supporter, a believer, a dreamer, a lover, a sister, a twin, a daughter, a friend, a fool, a harry potter freak, edward scissorhand's wife, a drummer, a bassist, a musician, an artist, an author, and of course, a freak. I heart me.

Ahh, speaking of hearting myself, I have ridiculously low self-esteem. But, I'm trynig to break that, so let's not talk about it. Good? Good.

I have very bad anxiety, but I take medication for it, and it's getting much much better. I also have severe ADHD (yes, I do take meds for it) so I can never stick with one thing for too long. That's why I am a bit iffy about this whole blog thing, because I feel like if I make a promise to stay, I am bound to break that promise.

So, here is my proposal: I will update my blogs once everyday. No, that won't happen. Let's say at least once or twice every weekend? Sounds like a deal that I can go on with. But, who knows. Maybe I'll stick around and full-fill my promise or maybe this was just my first and last blog. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
